This blog documents the International Edible Book Festival hosted by Georgia de Castro Keeling and Giulia Lindsay in London. The IEBF was founded in 2000 by Judith A. Hoffberg and Béatrice Coron and is held around the world each year on or near to April 1st. This event “unites bibliophiles, book artists and food lovers to celebrate the ingestion of culture and its fulfilling nourishment.” Participants are invited to make a piece of edible art that references literature in its shape and/or content. Entries are exhibited, documented and consumed on the day.
